Get Help

Treasure Coast Food Bank supports a network of emergency food assistance programs in Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Indian River counties. If you are in need of food, please contact one of our listed agency partners. For further assistance contact the Treasure Coast Food Bank Partner Relations Department at 772-489-3034 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be directed to the nearest emergency food provider in your area.

SNAP Program

Only about half of those eligible to receive food stamp benefits are currently enrolled. In the Treasure Coast of Florida, families are feeling the pinch due to bills and other expenses, and are not getting the proper nutrition. By defraying the cost of groceries, food stamps allow recipients to use their limited incomes on other important basic needs like housing, medical costs, transportation, and utilities.

 

Treasure Coast Food Bank began a new Mobile SNAP Outreach Program on September 2010. TCFB's focus will be on reaching individuals such as the elderly, disabled, homeless and those with little or no computer skills who are in need of application assistance.


This new program will greatly reduce the challenge of finding transportation to a local Department of Children and Families Community Partner agency. Our Program Outreach Coordinator will cover Treasure Coast Food Bank’s service area of Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie Counties. Aligned with the Treasure Coast Food Bank’s mission to alleviate hunger on the Treasure Coast, this new program helps more families put food on the table.
