The assistance of volunteers is priceless to the Treasure Coast Food Bank. Individuals, families, church and civic groups, and businesses can get involved by volunteering for the Food Bank. Every hour of volunteer time enables us to concentrate our financial resources on acquiring, purchasing and distributing food to those in need. Volunteers are essential in keeping our expenses low. Without the thousands of hours of volunteer help each year, the Food Bank would be unable to provide food to the thousands of hungry people it currently serves.

Top 5 ways to volunteer at the Treasure Coast Food Bank:

Warehouse Activities: Sort incoming food donations and assist with warehouse operations Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon or 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Click here for a map to our warehouse.

Hunger Awareness/Education: Help our Program Manager provide educational instruction on proper nutrition and health to Agency clients by serving as a chef, nutritionist or classroom assistant.

Speakers Bureau: Give presentations to civic groups, businesses, places of worship, etc. to inform people of the important work of TCFB and how they can participate to help alleviate hunger.

Special Events: Working with the event management team, assist at fun activities such as Fete du Vin, Empty Bowls, Food Drives and National Hunger Awareness Day.

Administration: Help with mailings, database management and other clerical duties.

Board of Directors: Provide leadership and specific skills in developing planning, policy, fundraising, and fiscal oversight. Contact Judith Cruz, Executive Director at jcruz@treasurecoastfoodbank.org to learn more about available Board positions.
