Your Plate takes a holistic approach by targeting and promoting healthy lifestyles through providing access to services and education. History:Treasure Coast Food Bank opened the area’s first Your Plate facility on Thursday, March 29, 2012, launching a program to combat hunger not only with food but with education and other tools to give people better lives.
The culmination of two years’ work, Your Plate gives families tools to change their lives. “We realized providing food would not be enough in solving the problem of hunger,” said CEO Judith Cruz. “Your Plate allows clients to achieve independence and empowers them to take back control of their lives."
